Scam?

In 2007 i was in a fatal car accident that left me in a coma nad paralyzed my arm.
I had a small amount on a credit card (i charged my college school books) that evidently went unpaid..... after all, I WAS IN A COMA.

I was contacted nearly two years later and essentially threatened and, grossly harrassed! I agreed to make payments and, I gave my account to them for scheduled payments.
MY ACCOUT WAS DRAINED!
I refused to pay them anymore - they already took everything and, I closed my bank account. they continued to harass me and, when I requested "legal documantation" to gbe mailed to me "certified", I neever heard from them again.
Last summer, it started all ov er only tis time, it was a different 'collecter'. I again requested legalo documentation and, i havent heard from them since.
I just received a phone call from a 'collector' saying I am to call them and they made reference to the county courthouse where I live.

I have NOT received any notification via mail. What steps should I take -if any- now?
I have afeeling this is a continuing scam
