Hello Everyone! How do creditors manage to somehow garnish exempt funds?All my income is ssd, but I had to stop my dd because the bank has already told me they will honor it when they get it!:confused::confused::confused:

They will probably freeze your account. What state are you in? Yes, the bank has to honor the garnishment, assuming it is the result of a judgment. Did you not know you had a judgment against you? Your court may have forms that you can fill out that show all your income is exempt. You might call the court and ask them if they have such forms.
