company that bought the check calls me a liar

I paid for something with a check and we were hoping to get the work to put this merchandise in a vehicle. Then my husbands knee went out and we did not get the work because he had to have surgery and was off work for 3 weeks. I have paid back almost half and do not deny owing the rest, but the company that bought the check is calling me 2 & 3 time a day and when I talk to them they call me a liar and are very rude. I am going to pay for this but my bank won't loan me the money and I am trying. Thank You Nancy

Nancy, I think your should also talk to some attorney regarding this matter. The company that bought the check should have some valid reasons to prove that you are lying. This is not true because you have already paid half of the amount. You may also take some professional counseling at this stage. The consultant will look into the available options you have.
