can a credit card company put a lien on your house for non payment

I agree with what SoapLady has said. The credit card company will have to file a lawsuit against you in order to get a judgment. If they are able to win a judgment against you, then they will have the rights to place a lien against your home.

Why don't you take steps to sort out matters with your credit card company? If you're past due on your credit card payments, try settling your debts with them. You can contact the local debt settlement companies and check out if they can help you in this matter.

You can settle directly with the credit card companies. It will save you time and money if you have the funds or can negotiate payment over a few months. Many of us have done our own settlement, saving thousands of dollars. There are many not-so-legitimate settlement companies who will just take your money and do nothing.

If you deal directly with the credit card companies, you will be on top of what's happening with your accounts. Read the success stories on this website.
