**Skip Down for just my questions and save yourself a reading or if you are going to say PDL are bad and dont do it, read my justification below before asking me why and such. Im just trying to get this going ASAP**Thank you.Hey, I took 2 payday loans out in the summer when I was in a tight spot. Researched online, mainly here and found that the companies were illeagal and what not.I took my loan from Star Cash Processing, and PaydayLoanYes. I put a restraint on my account so they never got the first payment. But after reading about the long process and unwanted phone calls, I decided to just pay off the loans. Both were $300 original loan notes. Worked out a payment plan with both companies, and paid 2 payments of 238 from my CC to one, 3 payments of 196 to the other. It was a mistake, I really didnt need the money that bad back then. I actually took it out for going to Atlantic City for the first time. Had a great time, But it was very costly. Now I was paid last week but had to pay 500 of my paycheck to bank fees for poor management on my accounts. I had a couple bills process through bill pay that I forgot about. Turns out the bigger one processed first. I could not change it. Took my accoount under and Put a hold on all my bills. Each company processed there payment 3 times. I took a 35 dollar hit 9 times on my account. Wachovia bank customer service is horrible, did not refund me a cent. Had to pay my old bills and fees to bring them current and now I am short for my bills due monday. Im sorry for the long justification for my needs. But Discovers supposed to try and pull 90 bucks from me today and I cant cancel it or anything. Another thing that sucks is that they process on the weekends so Monday when I can do something about Ill have 3 35 dollar charges awaiting me. Now, I also must pay 2 other bills next week monday and can not afford to have my account go under again. Its like a endless trap. Once it goes under it just keeps going. Then I get paid and pay the nonsense fees from the last paycheck, and get stuck with not enough money to pay my other bills. NYE is coming up, and I just turned 21 in August. Im planning to go out this year! Questions!I need advice on which company I should go with. I have a ton of emails but do not want to get a bad company to provide my note. I.E. Customer service. PDL Yes and Star cash, believe it or not, have a grea customer service team that trys to help you bring your loan current, Even after default. They wont approve me now because of the restraint to debit history. I need a new company.Im looking for a fast approval, like I can send the paperwork now and get it in my account today. That is priority number 1.And customer service is number 2.Please Help!

I am sorry about your situation but we can not provide you a recommendation for a payday loan, besides, the companies you have named above aren't legal anywhere in the U.S., you have probably paid they WAY OVER the amount they should have received!

If you are dead set on obtaining a payday loan do NOT use online Internet payday lenders, you are risking having your identity stolen by doing so. Use a store front lender instead, but make sure you are going to be able to pay them off when the time comes due, otherwise you will be in deeper debt than you already are!

Any recomendations in NJ for something like that? Honestly I would do business with PDL Yes and Star cash again just because of there great phone customer service afterwards. I had a hard time reaching them at one point to schedule a payment so I was looking forward to there call. Maybe im jsut friendly on the phone and when talking to Humans they are happy to hear a friendly voice, IDK. But at least they worked things out.

PDL are stupid. But look at our economy. I am educated and mature. But its either I pay 105 bucks for a 90 dollar bill payment, that wont get sent anyway. harm to my credit history, as well as a 25 dollar fee for late payment from discover or pay 105 in interest fully disclosed to me for a 300 dollar PDL. I mean all of this going to hit the fan next week. I need to decide now.

I can't really think what else to add to Shazzers' advice; as far as I'm aware (others might want to correct me if I'm wrong), PDL's are illegal in New Jersey and I can't imagine you'd find any storefront PDLs' in the area and would wind up going ton an online PDL. And I'm sorry, but I can't think of anything good to say about any online PDLs; I'm sure if you do a search on this site, you'll find plenty of people with stories about the PDLs' you've named. We all do what we feel we have to do and I hope you can find a solution to your problem, but I'm not going to advise anyone to take out a PDL of any kind.

Pachacutec1. I understand where you are coming from. And thanks for your response. But I know some must be worse than others, and some may be better than others as far as customer service goes. The concept is a horrible idea, and Im not trying to get tied in with legal issues at this time, just trying to get it and pay it off asap.

well let me chime in by stating either pdl will not let you payoff.they will ignore any requests to pay the entire amount, and the headache the loan will cause will not be worth it.now please stop trying to get us to justify this.nobody is gonna give you the thumbs up here.you are wasting your time in that pursuit.so again please find another way.

There are installment loan companies out there that will lend to those with poor credit. Not to recommend any names but if you do a search on this site you will find what your looking for. Most of us have found ourselves in the same position as you. The only way to resolve it, is to close your bank account, and follow the advise of this forum. I did just that, I'm out from under all of the lenders and the only thing I'm subjected too is those threatening phone calls from those heavy Indian accent people that are bottom feeding scum. Hang in there, stay away from internet loans, as the hole you find yourself in will become bigger and deeper.

If these are all online payday lenders the chances are pretty high they are not legal, provide us with more information so we can plan a course of action for you!
-Names of each pdl company.
-Whether they are store front or Internet.
-How much you borrowed.
-How much you paid so far.
-The state in which you reside.

Hi all, and Happy Holidays!! I too, I am finding myself in trouble with pay day loans and will NEVER use them again! My question is about your reference to PayDayLoanYes, I had never signed a contract with them and they deposited the money in my account the day after I had signed for another loan. I keep asking them for the signed contract but they won't send it to me. And they are threatening to garnish my wages. Any advice?
Also my next question is that I have several that I can not pay off at once, I have worked out a payment plan with four of them already, I plan to pay them all back but won't have the money to start paying the others back until these four are paid. Any advice on how to do this? And will these companies actually take me to court?
Any advice is greatly appricated!

What state are you in?
Who are your loans through?
How much did you borrow and how much have you paid so far to each?
Were you loans obtained via the internet or at a storefront?

Regarding PDLY, they're illegal, period. They obtained your info from another illegal lender. They can send a phony wage assignment to your employer but WAs are voluntary so all you have to do is revoke it.

The most important thing and the FIRST thing you need to do is to close your bank account. Answer my questions and I can give you step by step advice on how to deal with each of your lenders. It's highly likely you have some illegal lenders and may not even owe them anymore money.

i know its difficult to pay bills but try and work with whoever your bills are for. No good will come of more PDLs i have experience with star who put money into my account when i didnt even apply for a loan with them and i had to have them remove it again and it cost me overdraft fees. There is always a way round a situation but PDLs are not it. Most of us on here have had a long and unhappy time with these people.
