I've gotten myself in a mess! I owe FOUR payday loans this week and in no shape to repay. Each are for $500 which means I owe $2350. Easy Money, Check N' Go, Check Depot and QC Financial. Are they are all required by Alabama law in BRENT to offer the extended payment plan? For other reasons than this, my checking account has a "lock" on it.

You can check the member list below, even if they aren't listed call them anonymously and ask if they are members of the CFSA. Make sure you go in and request the EPP at least one day before the next payment is due, if they give you any flack get the corporate office phone number and call them instead! Here are some links you may need, you might want to print out the guidelines they are suppose to adhere to, arm yourself with information just in case!

All of the payday lenders have been willing to work with me on the EPP, with the exception of Easy Money. The girl i spoke with said i had to be unemployed to use the EPP. Even after I explained it is Alabama payday loan law that an EPP Borrowers Are Entitled to A Repayment Plan, she still refused.

"If you are in a difficult financial position and are not able to make the repayment in full through a one-time lump sum payment, you have the legal right to request the payday lender to provide you an affordable repayment plan so that you can pay off your loan easily. The Alabama payday loan laws have made it mandatory for the lenders to work out a reasonable and affordable repayment plan (in several easy monthly installments) to those borrowers who are otherwise not financially strong enough to repay the loan."

Guess i will be printing this and taking it to the store...
