Like a blind sheep, I have been paying on a payday loan since I took it out in June, without really thinking about how much I have paid.

$300 loan, paid $900 so far...balance as of today: $325.00 wow.

I am in Illinois, can anyone please tell me if I can request a paid in full on this loan, as well as a possible refund of some of the interest? I will not be paying them another penny...$900 on a $300 loan, with a $325 balance is ridiculous.

Thank you for your help!

If this is an illegal internet payday lender in your state the only way to stop them from accessing your money is to close your bank account. You need to file a complaint withe the AG, FTC and BBB in your state. After that send copies to your PDL along with a demand letter for a refund of the amount paid over and above the principle balance along with a PIF. Be sure to withdraw your ACH and wage assignment with this lender as well.
