Just a reminder from someone who has been through debt settlement, know what the federal law says about what credit/collection agencies can say to you, when they can call you, where they can call you at and who they can call and why! The law is very specific on this and you can find, online, or in this forum, what they can and can't do. They can't just say anything they want to say and run over you--you have rights. Know them and use them!
