Many many members has posted about this same problem. The best way to deal with it is to ignore them. When they call, don't speak to them at all, what they want is someone to intimidate, don't give that to them.

If it were me, I would change my phone number, it's hard to tell who has your number now, and I can almost guarantee you this won't be the end of it.

i have worked with these people. my person was Mr. Harris Fash Cash Advance, they were telling me i owed them $690 on a loan of $300, I laughed! i reported the harrassment to my AG's office, a few weeks later I got a letter offering me to settle the account for $340....I took that offer, after all I did receive the $300 and I figured it was worth the $40 just to get them off my back.
I'd still be curious to know if any conversation had taken place
I'd still be curious to know if any conversation had taken place over the phone before the settlement letter was offered? I'm wondering how a debt worth $690 could drop down at $340!
