Everyone
I have a question my ex-wife who does not have a job or property nor does she owns anything in her name is getting sued in PA by CACH llc
We have been separated for a while and I do help out from time to time.
I am trying to get a lawyer for her to fix this issue.
I wanted to know If I help out, will Cach ask me or garnish my wages to settle her debt?
We use to have joint accounts at one point but after separation I have been removed.
And lastly she does not even have bank accounts at point since she is living with friends and family
What can this lawsuit get out of her?

Hi! Welcome to the forums! Are you sure that your wife doesn't
Hi!
Welcome to the forums!
Are you sure that your wife doesn't owe the money? If yes, then you should tell her to not pay any penny to the collection agency. Your wife should ask the collection agency to validate the debt. The collection agency can garnish wages only under 2 circumstances - you are the joint holder of the account, they obtain judgment order from the court. As far as your wife is concerned, the collection agency will not be able to garnish her bank account as she doesn't owe one. Contact an experienced lawyer as soon as possible. He will help your wife in fighting this case.
