This is humiliating but I'm drowning in so many payday loans that I only have $300 left in my paycheck from all of the interest payments. They are all with reputable, store front companies in Texas -

1.EZ Money - $1350, min monthly interest payment of $440

2.Payday Advance (Cash America) - $1200, min montly interest payment of $212
3.Advance America - $1200, min monthly interest payment of $212
4.Ace Cash Express - $1200, min monthly interest payment of $208
5.Speedy Cash - $1200, min monthly interest payment of $208
6.Check n Go - $1900, min monthly interest payment of $360
7.First Cash Advance - $900, min monthly interest payment of $166
8.Cash Stop - $950, min monthly interest payment of $180
9.Payday One - $485, min monthly interest payment of $70
10.Check Into Cash - $575, min monthly interest payment of $98
11.The Cash Store - $950, min bi-weekly interest rate of $199

I don't know how you are juggling all those lenders, I can't imagine how awful it must be for you. Are any of these Internet lenders? Would you mind specifying which are Internet and which are store front? Thanks.

Have you asked any of these lenders if they offer an extended payment plan? I'm pretty sure most of them are members of the CFSA ( Community Financial Services Association of America ) . Click the link below to see how it works:

If they won't help you out with an extended payment plan, I would call their corporate offices.

Thanks for the quick reply. All of my loans are store front. I haven't asked any for an extended payment plans because I didn't think that would be an option in Texas, but I will now. If I default on my loans and close my checking account can I be charged for writing hot checks? Also, are those payday debt consolidation companies worth looking into?

I can't recommend any consolidation companies, sorry. As far as the EPP, all they can say is no, but if they want paid they need to compromise, that's why I would advise you to call the corporate office.

If you do try to locate a consolidation company make sure you do your research. Check the BBB, and do a search on this site.

Criminal action is not specified in your state, TX is a non garnishment state so I would think they would work out some type of payment plan.

I've had loans with almost all of them and all of them were easy to work with, America Advance was the best one to work with I just explained to them and talked to them nicely and they understood :) the hardest one is Ace Cash Express, they refused my payment plan therefore i had to call the main corporate office and deal with them. the local office is still calling me and harrasing me hahaaha!!!! they told me i was going to go to jail that same day i talked to them and that was a month ago hahahaha! just be honest with all of them and say you really want to pay back :) good luck!
