LOL!! I actually hate shopping (not your typical girl, I know) but I really want to start dressing the part, if you know what I mean. I am totally a jeans and t-shirt type of girl, but now that I have my real estate license and a real job, I feel like that isn't going to cut it in the real world :)

That's great waydizzy :-) I felt that way five years ago when I first started with my company. I've been going through a lot of turmoil lately but I'm working those things out. I think I might get a promotion because I took a stand. Keep your fingers crossed for me and good luck with your new job. I felt the same way when I first got business cards.

I want cards!!!!! lol :) We have fill-in-the-blank cards at work.

I don't dress up all the time at work...I mainly wear nice dress pants, and a blouse, or long sleeve knit shirt. I'll sometimes dress it up with a pretty pin or something...

Then other days I'm dressed up in a skirt or dress..lol No one ever knows what I'm going to do.

We have boring meetings every Saturday morning. It gets annoying because there is rarely nothing talked about at the meeting that I couldn't read in an e-mail at 10 a.m. at my store.

Also, I don't perform as well on Saturdays when we have meetings as I do on the rare occasions that we don't have a meeting. Probably because I have to get up 2 hours earlier for work.

LOL....that's exactly what I thought today!! Why couldn't I get an e-mail about? I heard nothing that I didn't already hear about last week.........

Also, this meeting was geared toward the "new people" who don't have a clue...I'm not trying to brag or be conceited or anything, but I know a little more than them about the business, so I basically got a free breakfast (not that it was good...) and a nice nap. LOL

Oh, we got donuts and coffee...But I don't like donuts...lol

All we talked about was the sale that's been going on for the past 2 weeks already (and we received an e-mail 2 weeks ago about it...And judging from the sales, we've been doing alright) And that corporate will be making a decision on our new district manager next week. (Which we already knew, because HR sent us an e-mail 4 days ago.)

So basically we got up early for nothing.

At least our Area Manager ran the meeting, so he didn't make us do any corny role playing or anything.

The worst is when they make us give demonstrations on products. One time they made me do one on pillows, and I forgot, so I was totally unprepared. So it went something like..

"Yeah, so these pillows...SPUN POLYESTER..It's hypo-allergenic, and it feels pretty soft, and won't bunch up...Cuz that really sucks when that happens..And uh..Don't smoke in bed, because these things are FLAMMABLE!" D.M. was not impressed...lol
