:confused:bcr has my t mobile collection. tmobile rudley hung up on me when i tried to make payment agreements i could afford after our car broke down and my husband broke his hand. they added a 400 dollar shut off fee on our no contract phones, then they handed it over t bcr. when i tried to get the bill settled bcr wanted to argue over the price instead of tring to settle. i had spoken to a lawyer friend of mine and he said not to pay because they are harrassing me in the first place, because tmobile never had the right to send my bill to collection because they didnt have evidence that our plan wasnt changed, for them to add on the 400 dollar fee that caused bcr to get invoved in the first place, and i had our phone on speaker with people in the room that heard us change our phones to no contract and then they lady waiving the fee because it was our first day and they had it on the wrong plan in the first place. my question to you is should i pay or should continue to not pay until tmobile takes bcr collection off my bill and settle with me also cleaning my credit record for their screw up.?:confused::p

As you were not making the exact payment to T Mobile, then they have the rights to send your account to collections. You will have to contact T Mobile and convince them to bring back your account from collections. If you can convince your creditor, he will withdraw the account from collections and you'll be able to make payments to him rather than to the collection agency. Thus, there may not be any negative affects on your credit report.
