I owe CK marketing on a payday loan. From reading on here the nightmares people have experienced with them, my biggest concern is that they will contact my employer to supposedly garnish wages (yeah right, I live in Texas). I can not afford to have this embarrasment. What should I do?? I recently defaulted on the loan as of this week, and am now getting telephone calls at work. Any suggestions? Please advise.

Thank you. :)

Is CK Marketing illegal in your state? If so, all you have to pay back is the principle amount of the loan? If not, you will need to make payment arrangements with them. My suggestion would be to close your bank account, send them a cease and desist letter, revoke your ACH and any wage assignment, and file a complaint with the AG, FTC and BBB. Unfortunately, if this is an illegal lender getting them to stop calling you at work is about impossible. Your best bet when they call let you employer know your a victim of fraud. If this lender is illegal, they will not take you to court for a judgment to garnish your wages. If they are, then yes they can go that route. If you'll read further on in this forum, you will find out all of the answers you need.

buzzette CK marketing is also mycashnow, and paydaymax.none of the three are even based in the US so they are illegal.first inform your boss that this is a scam company that you already paid as chances are that unless you just recently got the loan you have paid them as their rollovers are illegal, and get deducted from the principle.which is all you are liable for.next get a WAGE ASSIGNMENT revocation letter to your boss asap.then this illegal pdl an do nothing, and your boss, and co-workers should treat them like the illegal scam they are and hang up when they call.

Thank you for replying. I guess the only thing to do is to talk to my boss and tell them that I am victim of fraud. That way, if they receive any calls or letters, they can disregard. I have already put a freeze on my bank account. Wells Fargo was very nice in doing that. No debits will ever go through. And I opened a new account. And even if my life depended on it, I will never get a payday loan again. And CK Marketing is illegal I confirmed in Texas. But I know that doesnt stop them from their collection tactics.

Just explain to your employer that you are a victim of a scam and have no control over incoming phone calls. CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.
