Unfortunately I too have been in the PDL stuff..
I currently have 5 PDLs.
Cashnet USA, Integrity Advance, Eastside Lenders, Bayside Loans, SureAdvance.

I have paid ALOT of money into these loans. Thanks to finding this forum I have found out alot of info!! I live in Ohio and found out "rollover" loans are illegal. I feel lost as to where to start...I have already opened a new bank account but have to wait til tomorrow to close the old one.

Any advice would be greatly appriciated!

Hi, I know for sure that Integrity and Eastside Lenders are not legal in Ohio.
Cashnetusa is legal.

I need to do some research on the other two and will return as soon as I find out, meanwhile, read the link below on how to deal with the 2 illegal lenders I have named above, CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.

Cashnetusa offers an extended payment plan, but you will need to request it. It will allow you to pay the loan off in 4 separate payments and the interest will stop as soon as you sign up for it.

SureAdvance is NOT legal either. So add them to your list of illegal payday lenders.

You are going to need to close your account, that is very important. Since these illegal lenders have your account information, so does every other payday lender on the Internet, they sell off customers information to all kinds of criminals, so leaving that account open is absolutely not safe.

Forget the illegal lenders for now because they can't sue you, they can't do anything to you because their loans are not enforceable in a court of law. Just focus on the legal lenders and deal with the illegal lenders at a later time. You need to get back control of your finances. Read the link I gave you above on how to deal with illegal lenders. Talk to your legal lenders and explain to them you will need to begin making payments to them via the mail because your account has been compromised and had to be closed. Make sure you file complaints against these illegal lenders with the FTC and your state attorney general's office, you can file complaints online. It is very important that you follow through with the complaints and they will provide you with help in dealing with all this.

There are two addresses for Bayside.
214-01 Northern Blvd.
Bayside, NY 11361
100 Jericho Quadrangle
Jericho, NY 11753
Phone Number: 718- 423-8000

Gosh, is it any wonder the banks in this country is in so much trouble, they loan money over the Internet, I mean for heavens sakes!
This is not intended in any way to offend you, it just baffles me how a bank could be so unrestrained!

Gosh no!! These pdls should be illegal everywhere!! (I kick myself for pdls)
Its funny you would think that these pdl would have a physical address on their sites.

Now, how do I go about getting refunds from the illegals..
And, negotiating payments to the "legals"? Cashnet USA did rollovers on my pdl which I found out is illegal in Ohio. I have already paid over $500.00 to them in the so called renewal/rollover.

Hi I live in Ohio too. Send out the letter shazzers has to the illegals. Sure Advance was the first to send me a paid in full letter. I had to fight with east side lenders. File complaints with the Ohio Attorney General and the BBB. Dont get down on your self I was there too. Now after six months Im pretty much done with this mess. Good luck you can get through this.

I have been doing more research on CashnetUSA......I was looking under House Bill 545 section 1321....it states that they cannot offer a loan when the borrower is not physically present (section1321.36)
Sec. 1321.36. (A) No person shall engage in the business of making short-term loans to a borrower in Ohio, or, in whole or in part, make, offer, or broker a loan, or assist a borrower in Ohio to obtain such a loan, without first having obtained a license from the superintendent of financial institutions under sections 1321.35 to 1321.48 of the Revised Code. No licensee shall make, offer, or broker a loan, or assist a borrower to obtain such a loan, when the borrower is not physically present in the licensee's business location.
(B) No person not located in Ohio shall make a short-term loan to a borrower in Ohio from an office not located in Ohio. Nothing in this section prohibits a business not located or licensed in Ohio from lending funds to Ohio borrowers who physically visit the out-of-state office of the business and obtain the disbursement of loan funds at that location. No person shall make, offer, or broker a loan, or assist a borrower to obtain a loan, via the telephone, mail, or internet.

The CashnetUSA payday loan was over the internet. If I am reading this correctly...I am only liable for the principle? The loan was for $700.00 .....Ohio caps loans at $500.00.

Help lol!!

I replied to your PM. Keep in mind that Cashnetusa is a legal lender, you need to make payment arrangements with them. Eastside Lenders is NOT a legal lender in Ohio, the only way to stop them from debiting your account is to CLOSE IT.
