Payday loan lending is legal in Colorado. In that case, if these companies are legal in your state, then they have the rights to claim the money from you. However, if they don't have license and are illegal in your state, then you will have to pay the principal amount only. You won't have to pay any fees or late charges.

Agreed upon suggests the end of the contract, but a legal term can be interpreted in different ways by different people. If I were you, I would call the Colorado Office of the Attorney General because that is who regulates these loans, the number is: 303- 866-4494.

In the CO climate, I would be willing to bet quite a bit that none of the companies that you listed would file charges against you due to the bad press that it would generate. Call the Corp office for each, explain your situation and see what kind of payments they will allow. Many of them will allow small payments if you go to thier collections department.
