According to them: Regardless of where the Internet lender says it is located, it is subject to your state's credit regulations. Then tell them you are filing complaints with FTC, your State attorney general, etc.

Ameriloan and My Payday Advance
After sending revoke ltrs to Amerialoan and My Payday loan advance I rec'd a voice message yesterday from Ameriloan just stating to call them back concerning my loan then n email this morning from Ameriloan stating the ACH Debit from my bank was not honored (i did close my checking account) n they would like to arrange for other payment options. I reside in NJ n stated n my letter that my state prohibits pdl loans n that I have paid over the principle amount n that my loan was paid n full n demanded a refund. My payday loan Advance rec'd the same letter n they responded via email this morning stating call them immediately concerning my outstanding loan w them. I send letters to them both from my personal email address n they r emailing me back at my job email addresss. In their emails to me it seems they r not acknowledging that they have rec'd my revoke ltrs. How should I respond to them or should I respond? Should I send another ltr? I did state n the revoke ltr that I would file complaints against them.
then file the complaints.you stated you would now follow through
then file the complaints.you stated you would now follow through.as with most if not all illegals they want to get you on the phone to lie, threaten, and harrass.keep sending your emails as your response, and file the complaints.just do not engage these idiots on the phone.
Do NOT call them back. Resend your original letters via e-mail
Do NOT call them back. Resend your original letters via e-mail with notation that they are not to contact you at work. Set your e-mail options at work to not accept their e-mails (not just simply block). The e-mail will not go through to you.
After each e-mail, phone message resend your e-mail. I did this with Eastside Lenders and US Fast Cash. It went on for months.......
Do NOT engage in any conversation with them. and you can e-mail them a copy of your complaints letters. Keep all correspondence from you/them in a separate folder so you don't accidentally delete.
You will gain some peace of mind by not talking to these jerks. Trust me, I had 8 payday loans and "weathered the storm".
Ameriloan and My Payday Advance
Thanks guys for the advice! I will get on it to send those complaints out and follow up responding via email.
