I would ignore it, all these lenders are connected in some way, and they sell off their customers data to others, then they call people or email them trying to convince them they owe money. I would ignore it, seriously. It's been over 3 yrs since I cleared up my payday loan situation and I still receive emails with threats from lenders I have never heard of, and offers too. I send mine to the spam folder. lol

I will tell you honestly, I wouldn't even open them, why put yourself through it, they aren't worth a minute of your time to open their emails.

The people that call you with the Indian accents are a fradulent group who get your information when you apply for online payday loans. They then start calling you to scare you into giving them your account information so that they can clean out your account. They call from numerous numbers and will not stop. The only thing you can do is report them each time they call with a different number but don't ever give them any information.

Oh no, I never confirm any information. As a matter of fact, Jack Wilson called me to day at work heavy Indian Accent, I couldn't even understand his company name and because he called the operator at the company I work for I don't have the number this time. I told him I don't verify personal information over the phone, I have no idea who you are and he said "I'm turning you over to our legal dept" and told him please do and he couldn't hang up fast enough.

The best way to intimidate these 'so called' collectors is to begin questioning them when they call.
Here is an example of what I use to do:
What did you say your name was?
How do you spell that?
Your address please?
Spell that out too please.
A direct line where I can reach you?
Let me repeat that back to you.
The name of your company?
How do you spell that?
Your supervisor/s name please, and spell that too please.
His direct phone number please, let me repeat that to make sure I have it correctly.
Etc, etc...
No one has ever actually answered all of my questions because they usually hang up first. But hey, the more information you can get, the more detailed your complaints will be.
