how do i handle the harrassing phone calls from a company called alliance asset management that has obviously bought the paperwork from a loan company? and how do i handle the harrassing phone caller that does not identify themselves as a company?

You tell them that under FDCPA regulations they are required to mail your information about the debt within 5 days after contacting you. You tell them to stop calling until they send the information, and that if they continue to call you will record their calls and report them for their violations, or tell them you will contact a consumer rights attorney to handle their violations.

I suspect you will no longer receive calls until they send the debt information. If they do, then you send a validation letter, certified mail, return receipt. That will give you some time to decide how the handle the debt if it's legitimate.
