success with Pluto marketing

To date i have only heard back from Pluto marketing who i had offered $120 which was the amount left to pay that would bring me to the $300 that i borrowed from them.
They sent me a letter saying that was perfectly acceptable and on reciept of my money order they would send me a paid in full letter.
Lets hope that the other are so good to deal with.
Shazzer what about this collections agency that people are saying is so awful how do i deal with them if i get a letter. As you know i have a loanpoint usa account and they are not wanting to work with me at all although they have recieved 2100 on a 600 account

If that should happen, and you do receive a letter of collection from NCA, I will then research your state collection laws to see what they statutes are. Basically though, any time you receive a letter of collection from a collection agency you will have 30 days to dispute the debt, ALWAYS make a collection agency validate the debt. You can find debt validation sample letters on this site, but I would personalize it instead of using a template. Also, you should make sure that you send the debt validation letter certified, return receipt requested.

On another note do you know? is it legal for experian etc to put a collection from an illegal source on your credit report? i would have thought they could only do that with legal companies. Because if they try that im gonna MAKE them take it off i want to know whats legal. Ill get a lawyer to deal with experian etc if i have to its a point of principle now
