Received a Crazy Email from MyPaydayLoan.com

i received this email from my payday loan today and about fell out my chair from laughing when i first seen it, but am wondering if this can happen from them.. here is it copied for you guys take on it:
" Your account has defaulted to our collections department for non-payment your bad check has been reported to Contribution, a service of SCAN. Being listed in this service prevents check writing at major retailers, such as Wal-mart, Target, etc. Once reported this will make applying for additional loans, or checking/savings accounts at financial institutions nearly impossible.
This, of course, can be remedied by making at least the minimum payment on the loan in which we extended to you in good faith. Once your payment is received your account will be removed from Contribution. Continuous refusal to make good on the loan will result in the account being turned over to an outside collection agency for full recovery plus up to an additional 35% of the loan amount charged for fees and services.
If you have any questions, please feel free contact our agency by responding to collections[at]mypaydayloan.com or by calling 1-888-269-2303 ext 2. "
I told them 3 weeks ago that i closed my bank account and am not paying any extra fees to NO ONE other than the principal borrowed and just sat back. 3 weeks later this is what i receive from them.
None can this really happen to anyone? Or 1 of the famous "internet payday lenders" scare tactics...

If this internet payday loan company is illegal in your state, then you don't have to pay interests and other fees. You can just pay off the principal amount. So, don't succumb to their threats.

I have investigated and searched for a company with this name and have not found anything that would lead me to believe otherwise. "SCAN" is actually a company which retailers hire to "profile" people who are attempting to write a check for merchandise. SCAN provides information about checks returned, AND, it also "profiles" people. Look it up (SCAN) for a better explanation.
I think that these illegal pdl's (AGAIN) has searched the Internet for ways to try and intimidate their customers and are using a fake name (Contribution) in relation to an actual check service (SCAN).
I have sent an email to SCAN, to ask if they have any knowledge of any such company called "Contribution", and to inform them that their company is being used as an example by known Internet criminals posing as payday loan companies.

your account has defaulted.more than likely because you realized that we have no legal license to lend.we are using the SCAN threat because we have to resort to this,but let's face it.you didn't give us a check so we really can't report to SCAN legally,and it can be disputed,or SCAN would laugh in our faces because we would have to produce the check.we hope this attempt to scare you via email works because we really can't do spit,and we hope you are as stupid as we are.please call us if you actually believe our stupidity.
