So I got a response from the BBB regarding complaints against Ameriloan and USFastcash. Both responses from the company said, "this is a form letter circulating around the internet with inaccurate information." These 2 were both filed with the Tulsa BBB.

I responded that this did not resolve the complaint and stated that "this letter was informing the company that they were operating as an illegal payday lender in my state since they are unlicensed. and they have not sent me a copy of their license to prove otherwise.

I also got an invalid response from the BBB regarding Huskhawk saying "We regret to inform you that the Better Business Bureau can not process your complaint. The case has been reviewed and was found to contain insufficient information for us to process." Not sure why the information was insufficient.

Where else do you think I should complain regarding these businesses?

well all MTE d/b/a's use that form letter.kinda hypoctrical don't you think?file AG,AND FTC complaints as your AG will act,and the FTC will eventually.i would do that and just file a resonse to the BBB stating you find their form letter response unacceptable, and it dosen't resolve your complaint.which you did now file the AG AND FTC complaints against all three lenders.btw i always recommend filing bbb complaints last as they accept any response from these places and the reason they wouldn't accept the hushwak complaints is beyond me.put the BBB in our rearview and file the others.

I'm not sure if my state AG will do anything. The compliance division from my state sent me a letter saying they have no control over online lenders unless they are brick and mortar in our state (TN).

I'm going to go ahead and file complaints with the OK AG (since they are located in Miami, OK) and FTC. I did reply that "my letter simply stated that they were operating as an unlicensed, therefore illegal, lender and would not supply a copy of their license. I demand a refund for the overpaid amount from the principal."

They think they are just so smart and try to get out of everything. By the way, this is what they filed as a response. Talk about a form letter. Both companies replied with the exact same response. hmmm. wonder how many of them are running out of the same shop.

Their response:
To Whom It May Concern:
We recognize this complaint as a response to a template of a form letter circulating the Internet. This form letter is full of mis-leading and inaccurate information. Unless this customer has a specific complaint regarding the handling of their account, we do not believe a response is warranted. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

Counter it by writing a letter to the BBB, explain that receiving a generalization is not an acceptable response. It is obvious this payday loan company is attempting to conceal themselves by stalling with a auto generated response that in no way applies to your complaint. Request the BBB to intervene as this is an unacceptable

I believe that both of these companies, Ameriloan and USFastCash, are operating out of the same location in Miami, OK. So I filed a complaint against on with my TN attorney general and one with the other with the OK attorney general.

Should I actually send a physical letter to the BBB or just put that in my rebuttal section?

I'm going to email the Huskhawk BBB and ask them what information they were missing.

I don't think there are any sample letters for the BBB that would apply to your situation Klier. I am a fighter, and won't take no for an answer so I dispute and dispute until I receive satisfaction. I think it's important that you provide more facts about the company in question to the BBB, and emphasize dissatisfaction with the outcome. In other words, argue your case!

I had already filed my response to the 2 BBB claims (Ameriloan and USfastcash) denying that I accept their response.

So, I emailed the BBB account rep and let her know that I thought they were using stall tactics by supplying an auto generated vague answer that did not address my complaint. I asked her if the BBB could do anything to get a response related directly to my claim.

I also let her know that I believe that these 2 companies are operating out of the same location since they both responded with the same auto generated vague answer. I told her that they were operating as unlicensed lenders and were using inappropriate collection activities.

I got a response back regarding my email back to the BBB rep concerning the company rebuttals. Evidently, I'm not the first person to question them. In the meantime, I have already filed with the OK AG and the TN AG so will follow up with the FTC also.

You are correct in the fact that these are two companies operating in one location. They have other loan businesses that have different names and are located at the same location. Unfortunately, the BBB has tried to get a true response from these companies time and time again. We cannot force a company to respond, but we can report all the complaints they receive and how they were unresolved or unanswered. They tend not to provide any documentation we request to support their case.

The next best step for you to take is to call the Federal Trade Commission (877-382-4357) and see what they may do about this particular situation. We will be reporting your complaints on our reports for the companies. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.
