Hi,

I hope this topic/forum is still active but currently I'm dealing with this recovery service, I believe it is their office in Florida. I worked with them to come to a settlement for debt I occurred. When I finally paid them what they wanted, I was told they would send me documentation that I have paid the settlement in full and they would send notification to the company I owed the debt to and as well as notification to the credit report agencies.

I waited a few months and have seen none of these things happen. How long does it take for notifications to be made and sent out. What type of paperwork should I be expecting?

I did call them but all they did was take my information (which I though they would have in some sort of computer system) and said they would call me back. The person I spoke to sounded like they had trouble finding me in their system and seem to not want to talk to me. That was weeks ago.

The settlement they offered me originally was almost double what I was able to haggle with them to bring it down. I wondering because I didn't pay the initial amount they wanted they might be holding off on clsoing my account, which I'm afraid with keep my credit from recovering and leaving open the possibility they will come back after me in the future. I have kept the all the official papers of the settlement of what I owe and have all my bank statements.

I am so confused........ I have no idea what going on:confused::confused::(
