My wife has a capitol One card that was sent to Nelson Watson and Associates, after sending them a debt verification letter and cease and desist letter to keep them from calling day and night I sent them a offer letter to settle the account. I has been almost 2 months and we have not heard back from them. Should I send them another offer letter, or what? I would like to get this settled.

More than likely the account was closed and returned to capital one or forwarded to an attorneys office due to the cease and desist. Since Capital One assigns the accounts, they still retain ownership. Capitol one is very agressive.

CA's will not respond to offers of settlements, particularly if there has been a prior cease and desist. You will need to call them....they will not contact you.
