can i stop payment on the loans

First of all, please list the following information so we can help you.
-Names of each pdl company.
-Whether they are store front or Internet.
-How much you borrowed.
-How much you paid so far.
-The state in which you reside.

Please do not let any of these pdl's know you are going to close your account, until AFTER you have done it!

It will be hard. My tried this an also accumulated hundreds of dollars in NSF fees and had my account closed due to a negative balance. I still could not pay bills due to the bank now taking all my money! Close your account if you can!

My bank will only put a stop on an ACH transaction unless you have the EXACT amount and name of the company. This means having to know how the name will appear when they hit the account.

You can try to put a stop payment on the ACH, but they are aware of this tactic too. I had one that I owed $500.00 and they ran it through my account as $250 and $250. Or they will change the amount by a penny and the bank will let it go through. I had one that I put a stop on that I had the name as National Cash Advance, they ACH as NationalCashAdvance (no spaces), the bank let it through.

Having been throught it myself it is worth closing the account!! You will not get any further ahead money wise unless you do!

you should speak to the bank manager.nobody else and either have the account put on DEPOSITS ONLY if it is in the red,or put a hard debit block.you must see the manager for this nobody else will do.the post above me is why stop payments,or partial blocks do not work.
