Umm where do I start, I never recieved the 30 day garnishment notice, I tried to call the collection company and they said they already sent a letter to my employer.. And they are going to start garnishing my wages! They finally sent me a new 30 day letter but I called and they said disregard it and that I should fill out the worksheet.. And give proof of me losing my job and being hired within the last twelve months.... Is there a way out of the garnishment I have no problem making a payment, just never recieved a notice... Would one of those consolidation places help me or not on a 36,000$ debt... Please help!

Hi!
Welcome to the forums!
Creditors/collection agencies can garnish your wage after obtaining judgment order from the court. So, are you sure that they have secured the judgment order? Did you receive any kind of documents from the court? I think, you should first check that. The entire episode seems suspicious. Contact a good lawyer as soon as possible.
