She wanted me to make payment arrangements and they would send me a letter. Pffffttt!! I told her to send me paper work in the mail, she said they only send emails. I said sorry must be USPS. She refused hahahah. I told her she had 5 days from today and this phone call to send me a dunning letter. She said she would tell the creditor and hung up on me. I wasn't done talking lol:twisted:

Make sure you file a complaint against them with the BBB, your state attorney general and the FTC, if they continue to call you without providing the required documentation.
When you file complaints against them, let the FTC know they are violating the FDCPA by calling you for an illegal debt that was paid off, they refused to send a dunning letter after it was requested, yet they continue to call. They are infringing on your rights by NOT sending you the required documentation, and the organizations I mentioned above need to be informed so they can take action against them!

I thought so, just wanted to mention it anyways. But yes, they are un-freakin-believable.

"Mel" called and left a message from this number for "Robert" stating there was "something he may be interested in knowing about his account". I called back and told them Robert was my father and he passed away in 1999. (He's the only Robert who had ever lived at my home.) It ended up being for my "brother" Rob. Longer story short, they are supposedly taking my number off. We'll see! By the way, my number is under my married name, not my maiden name and my brother never gives it out because it is unlisted.
