Most of these I have been paying interest on for 6 months or more. Which ones of these might be illegal in my state?

Thanks

The following lenders below are not licensed/legal in your state:
Flash Loans
Northway Financial
National Payday
Paydaymax
Wages Fast
Ace Cash Services.

You need to close your account! CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders. I am checking on the rest of your lenders.

company pricipal interest was just my heading.

I had copied it from excel.

So my best bet is to close my account and then pay off my legal lenders and then proceed with the ilegal ones?

So far I have paid wages fast $871.47 over the amount of the pricipal loan.
I have paid flash loans $786.50 over the amount of the pricipal loan.

Thanks for the help so far
jeremy

So what should my first step be? I am okay with setting up a payment plan with my legal lenders. Should i go ahead and close my account though?
So far I have paid flash loans $786.50 over my principal loan amount.
I have paid wages fast $871.47 over my principal loan amount.

What about speedy cash? I had a loan wtih them but I have paid it back already. if this was an ilegal loan could I email them the template and try and get a refund on all the interest I paid?

Thanks so much
Should i go ahead and close my account though?
Yes, you definitely need to close your account. You can tell your legal lenders it was closed for security reasons or something. They shouldn't really care as long as they get their money. And maybe afterward, try and pay them with a prepaid card from Walmart or money orders because you really don't want them to get your checking account numbers again. But keep in mind these lenders might ignore you and not refund any of your money. But hey you can't lose anything (don't disclose your checking account number! Let them send it by check/money order), and if you get back anything that is a win!

I got this response back from wages fast. One of the lenders who i had already paid off my loan with.

Please refer to your copy of any of the Loan Agreements you have from any of your loans with us. The loans were not funded from, nor are we located in, the State of Alabama. Your request for a refund is denied as none is either due or substantiated. Thanks, Customer Service

Is there anything else i can do with them? sounds like they are just wanting me to go away and hope i dont push the issue

After I sent the email again and saying I had complained to the BBB, FTC, and my attorney general this is the response I recieved.

There is no issue here. The matter is closed. Any further contact made will be closed without reply. Customer Service

I understand that since I have paid this loan in full I might not have much luck with them in getting a refund, but i just hate taking this answer from them. Even after sending the email template 2 times i sent a seperate email just asking for them to send me a proof of license in the state of Alabama and they simply stated this matter was clsoed.

Is there anything else I can do in this situation?

Let the experts chime in, but other than outright suing them (which is probably not worth it since the costs would probably exceed anything you could recover), I don't think there is much you can do at this point. It's hard, but you might just have to chalk it up as a lesson well learned--never go near PDLs.
