Scams and selling debt portfolios on craigslist

I cant wait till the FTC, Attorney Generals, local law enforcement, FBI etc starts to crackdown on the scam artist. I received a call from a Tina or Anna Reed this morning.
However the phone number that showed up was from 713-888-0909 (which is Proactive in Houston TX) so that tells me they are using a router to show a different router. This so called Anna or Tina Reed was calling about delivering a legal affidavit for IAG also known as International Asset Group. She stated she would be at my house at 330pm. Well if she was calling from Houston that would be a 2 day trip to my house in TN. I have called my local police department and filed another police report and also filed a complaint with the FBI.

not sure about texas policy on recording phone calls but here in missouri and many other states you can record callers who call you even without their knowledge/consent as long as you aren't recording in order to further an illegal act such as blackmail.
So I'd start recording some of those calls if I were you.
