Pay Day Loan refused but I rec'd money anyway.

Dec. 10th I applied for a payday loan online. A company emailed a one month contract for my signature, stating principle was $300 and interest $180. I texted and followed with a phone call, saying I didn't want the loan, and wouldn't sign their contract. A few days later, one of the other lender sites I'd applied to wrote themselved a $49.95 check on my account, so I closed it and opened a new one. I was busy, it was Christmas! Well, the first week of January I saw "VIP cash withdrawal"' - $180 on my new account. I didn't know what they meant by VIP cash w/d and the bank had no further information, so I disputed the transaction. A few days later I dug through the literally hundreds of emails from lenders, and found one from VIP; they'd approved the loan, after I'd refused it. Then a text from an affiliated company said the loan was being extended for another 30 days, and $480 will be deducted from my account Feb.3rd.
Cheeze, if they are so bold, why didn't they take the whole $480 January 3rd? Do they really think they can get ANOTHER $180 out of me?
OK, so neither the deposit of $300, nor withdrawal of $180 were authorized; they are not licensed in Oregon and their interest rate is illegal here. Legally, am I required to pay them back the $300? And although I also closed that debit card, can they access my new information? - I'm asking for the facts, not moralizing. AND hope someone will learn something from my dumb mistakes. Don't give out sensitive information!! Now, here's my phone #, address, SS#......................

As the payday lender is illegal in Oregon, then you should only
As the payday lender is illegal in Oregon, then you should only pay them the principal balance. You shouldn't pay them any late fees or other charges. You can even file a complaint against them with the BBB and your State Attorney General.
