So I had a thread last year about NCA trying to collect on an old PDL account from ImpactCashUSA. Now it seems they've bought yet another old PDL from LoanPointUSA. It says I owe them $1000 which I know they blew up because I never had a PDL that was over 300-400 so they tacked on lots of fees...some of which LoanPointUSA probably tacked on themselves. I know that LoanPointUSA is not licensed to collect in Florida. I already knocked out a DV letter to them before for the ImpactCash loan they bought. Guess I'll have to do it all over again now with these clowns. I never heard back from them verifying my ImpactCash loan either. So much for their mumbo jumbo in their letter saying they'd verify debts upon request huh?

Any advice on dealing with these jokers again would be appreciated.

Pretty much do what you are doing. Send a debt validation letter for the new account. Be sure these jokers are not reporting on your credit reports either and if they are, dispute those as well.

Oh, I checked as well to make sure they weren't. I've only checked one so far but no sign of them. They do heavily hint in their letters that when you pay off the account, they'll report the account as paid in full on your credit report. Nice how they hint that this illegal loan will affect your CR's huh? I already knocked out a letter to the Florida AG as well stating that they're trying to collect illegal loans and huge fees on them.

Hope they enjoy my DV letter. Sure I'll never hear from them...the liars. They'll verify upon request my butt.
