unknown debt

Hi,
I am swiss citizen living in Brazil, and were in the Florida hospital in june 2010 for a smll problem. I paid the hospital with my credit card which was fully debited. Now I receive from medicredit inc a notice I still have to pay 291$. I have no idea what it is. They do not give any reference, there is no e-mail contact possible, only phone which is very expensive from Brazil, and my english is not very good. Can you advice me what to do please. Thanks a
