Kimberly credit has been taken over by federated fin serv. What the heck is going on? Can't find any info online...or call KC..only answering services. I'm so close to being debt free...ugh!

The official website of Federated Financial Services will be "federatedfinancial.com/index.html". You can check out the contact details from their website itself. You can contact them and check out if they own your account. If yes, then they will let you know how you can make the payments to become debt free.

Ohh I already have. In contact with someone at Federated, and he's awesome. The problem is..KC took out my January payment, and just wanted to confirm it will be applied to my creditors. KC HAS NEVER WRONGED ME. So I can only imagine it will be applied. Just would like a verbal confirmation...its like everyone there fell off the face of the earth. Ugh!

My wife was paying KC and the new company is saying that her January payment was never applied to her debt amount and KC essentially took her money and ran as there is no account of payment. If anyone is having similar issues please let me know if you find a solution.

I just spoke with a representative from MDMS and he told me that they are still investigating our accounts to find out how much is owed to the creditors. He gave me a blance but said it could be completely wrong. All sounds shady to me. I'm going to contact the creditors directly to make sure things are straightened out. He said it could be up to a month before they know what is going on.

I decided...after being on the program for 3yrs..and my balance for my creditors are under 6000.00 to remove myself from the program and take over my self. I am just not patient enough. My last KC payment is still lost...but will consider it a wash. If it shows up great. Signed agreement w/KC not Military. They have way to much on their plate right now. Happy about my decision. Good luck to all.

I am in the same boat with Military not being able to find my Jan. payment. Honestly I don't know what to do? I am really hoping this forum can help my wife and I. We too have been on the Kimberly program for 3 years. I have sent Military my Western Union statement, and also my bank statement, proving payment for January. Any advice greatly appreciated!

I received a letter for KC last month that said, "Congratulations. Your debt is paid in full." Then yesterday I got a letter from the credit card stating that I still owe:???:, and the last payment was never applied. I have tried and tried to get in touch with KC, but have not been successful. The new folks seem to think I'm paid in full, also, but something is not right.

Well...if ur lst payment was January...ur prob not PIF. We all are missing that payment. It was taken out...but not applied to the creditors. As stated before...I had to make extra payments to the creditors cuz of the 'missin payment'. Someone has my money. The fact tht the new company can't find it either, forced me to quit the program and do it myself. All shady! How can one company take over....and not know where the money is? That was 600.00 of my money. Not happy!

My January payment still has not been applied (well over $1000) and it is now March 1. KCC also has my
deposit of $1,000. MDMA took my Feb payment on 2-18 and that has not shown up either. The credit
card companies are calling and also dropping me from the program. I have over $3000 tied up in this SCAM
Who governs agencies like this? There has to be a law??

I was also scammed out of 1200.00 by KCC with only 1 more year to go. They took the money out on Jan 3rd and that's the last anyone has seen it.I give Military Debt a couple calls a week to just let them know I'm not going to accept this. I made a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but they said they cannot persue it because KCC is out of business. They did give me another site to complain to though. I'll get that site for anyone who wants it. My creditors want that payment to allow me in another debt management plan. If I had the money, I would not be in debt manangement!!! I tried to go on my own ,but the interest rates suck if you're not working with a counceling credit agency. You have to look for ones that are government backed (usually non-profit) and your creditors can tell you who they work with. Take Charge America sounds legite and they're rated A with the BBB. Let's stay in touch because we may have to complain to the Attorney General. If there are enough of us we might get their attention. You might want to ask your bank if they cover "fraudulent charges". I tried and my bank said they would not pursue it because KCC is out of business and the bank could not recover their money. I've got to talk to a manager about this cause I'm not buyin' it--that's not what insurance is for. Keep in touch folks!

To date we have lost over $4000 which was January payment & initial deposit. For us I think its best to try to stay with the new company Military Debt. They seem honest. Federated seemed very shady. Even recording me saying that I want them to manage the debt for us. Military Debt has never lied to me. They honestly said they didn't know if they didn't. Yesterday I was told that my deposit is 100% gone and my January deduction is probably 90%. They don't think they will be able to find it and that KCC or Federated took it. We had one year to go after 3 long years of struggle. This is rediculous. I even researched KCC, and have 2 friend that used the successfully. I am very careful with where our money goes and now look? What a mess. I have filed a complaint with the Florida State Attorney General and I suggest others follow. At least it might keep the owner from opening up another business and doing this again. I'm glad I found this its a good sounding board. When I have new info I'll post again. I am also going to try my bank too. February's payment was taken by Military on February 14th and reached the creditors by March 7th. But there is still a missing payment. I've gotten letters & phone calls from creditors dropping us already. Military said they are sending out new proposals. So that means to me that the creditors have to contract again with Military Debt. Some of them probably won't. Oh well back to square one I guess. VERY UPSETTING! Thanks for listening.

The creeps stole $1600 from me....took that out in January 2011 but DID NOT PAY the creditors! Closed their doors-they're gone. We should get some kind of class action suit going and sue who ever owned that company, and the everyone involved in stealing our monies.....

I am not sure if this goes for everyone but Military Debt Mgmt has agreed to cover my missing January payment. But they do not have a date that they will do it. I am still missing my initial deposit. I am going to file a complaint with the Florida State Attorney General about KCC. Some companies have dropped us out of the program. They need a new proposal and agreement with Military. I guess only time will tell the damage. I will say Military Debt continues to be straight with me. They have been applying my payments so fast now there were two in March. I have less than a year in this as of now. I hope that will not change. I'm in this 4 years now and have repaid $100,000 I do not want to start over with high interest and fee's again! I just thought I would let everyone know this update. Good luck to all. How does one go about contacting a lawyer for a class action lawsuit?

I was just reading all of your concerns. I'm the owner of a credit counseling company. Any time a credit counseling company takes in new clients from another credit counseling company there is a good chance that the last payment you made to KC did not go out to your creditors nor will it ever get to them. KC is no longer in business for a reason. Probably financial related. They either sold all of their clients to this other company or they gave their clients to someone else to deal with the complaints that they saw coming. As for the company that took over your accounts, all they have to do is contact the creditors and have reviews done. They can find out when the last payment was made and how much was made. I would advise you the client to contact the creditors and find out for yourself. This should also reflect on your monthly statement. If you have been making payments on time to this new company than they have no excuse for not making your payments on time. If you need further help or have questions and do not feel like you are getting the service that you should to contact Nation Wide Consumer Debt Relief 877-282-7587

Not signed in...but to the post above....DAH! Like we all didn't know that. Still doesn't make right that KC stole...yes stole money from us and we just have to deal. Bull! We get you're trying to 'sell' your company.....but give up unless you know where our money is from KC!
