doubleday book club contract...free offer

1/25/2011 recieved a letter in my mailbox today from rjm acquisitions llc about oweing the doubleday book club $72.03 because i failed to fulfill the contract agreement. can i skip this? i'm not interested in contracts or agreements .... a customer k. mchale i had to purchase a certain number of books over a 3 year period and could'nt find any more books i wanted to buy....that's why i owe them money.

If you don't pay them off, then they may charge off the dues to a collection agency which will have a negative affect on your credit report. Moreover, the collection agency will come after you to recover the dues. It's better to not avoid the debt and pay it off.
