ready to settle with Discover

I owe 9900 to Discover now. I can come up with 70% now to settle. I've never been late more than twice in 13 years. I can't take paying 19.99% APR anylonger and want to be debt free. I am required to maintain "Fair" credit for my employment so I am researching ways to settle without damaging my credit. Is it possible??

Check out this thread about Discover settlement. Now, on your "fair" credit requirement, I would find out what that score is that they require, rather than just fair. One settlement might not beat you up that badly. Research more, for sure. Good Luck. dtm
