no it is not legit.no process server will call ahead.file a police report for the call as the idiot broke the law,and i would not call the number back instead use it to file a police report.then don't hold your breath waiting for the goofus to show up as again no process server will call ahead, and last thing.chances are that if the loans was internet it was not legal.therefore anybody trying to collect will use alot of illegal methods to try and scare money out of you.file the the police report then ignore them and again don't be holding your breath waiting as it is a scare tactic.

No, it's not. I would call that number back and tell them that unless they intend to send you something in writing regarding this alleged debt, they won't be talking to you again. Do not verify any information for them. Do NOT give them ANY of your account information and do NOT let them scare you. This sounds like one of the MANY scams out there. If they refuse to send you something in writing, they're not legit.

Hi I live in missouri and I just recieved a phone call stating that it was a Bruce Kelly from the county processors and he had just left my home, which I've been here all day and no one has came by, and was heading to my work place to serve me with papers. He also told me to call 1-877-405-4615 ext. 104 to try and make payment arrangements so this doesn't go to court. Any idea what to do?

yeah, file a police report as the idiot broke the law with that call.then file AG complaints using whatever number he gave.then ignore him,and don't talk to him as he only wants someone to harrass, and argue with.bottomline a scammer that needs to be reported not paid.

I too just received a call from a Kevin Williams claiming to be a process server of the county I reside and work in. He phones me once last week and also today. He said he was about 15 minutes away from my job and that he would attempt to serve me there as well at my home address. Funny he told me the same thing on Monday. He told me I had about 15 minutes to call 877-405-4615 Ext: 105 to resolve the matter prior to him arriving at my job. I will not be calling them unless they continue to harass me and I will also be filing a complaint with the proper authorities. DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE, MANY SCAMS GOING ON NOW DAYS!!!!
"Many scams going on nowadays" is an understatement, isn't it?
"Many scams going on nowadays" is an understatement, isn't it? I just wish there were SOME way to get the word out to EVERYBODY about these crooks; I hate to think of all the people who haven't visited this site to learn the truth about scammers, who might be scared into sending money.

So today I got a voicemail message from "Michelle Preston from National Process Servers" talking about how she received a faxed order in reference to a fraudulent check that was written by me?!? (Mind you I've NEVER written a check in my life!).
She said she has several legal documents that she needs to serve to me and is going to show up at my house and at my work!
She referred me to call the firm in charge of my "Case" which is Sterling and Roberts at 1-866-765-0445 (Which after a Google search I found out doesn't exist!) and gave me a claim number...
After I hear this message I admit I freaked out only to find out what a creative SCAM these people have come up with... Time to change my phone #! Too bad there's actually people who fall for this bullsh*t!
