Speedy cash

I have received a notice in the mail from Speedy Cash on the amount of the loan I took out over the internet. It says I have 30 days in which tto reply. I understood in the state of Louisiana they are not legal. What should I do now. They called my work and my boss was upset. I told them I recieved the letter in the mail and that it said I have 30 days in which to reply and that I would whitin the 30 days. They wanted my ss# but I would not give it to them. Also cashnetusa has been calling everyday and my boss said they sometimes call twice asking for me. I have tried to get them to except $50.00 a check but they won't budge so I haven't sent them anything. Can someone please give me some advice!!! I need help it is making me a nervous wreck and I am afraid I might loose my job!!!!!


You do understand that Cashnetusa is legal? Just letting you know.

As far as Speedy Cash, what type of letter head was the bill written on? Does it have an address, phone number or anything on the letter? Was the mini Miranda warning written somewhere on the letter? For example, this is an attempt to collect a debt, you have 30 days to dispute it, if you do not respond within 30 days it will be an admission to owing this debt.

I am surprised that Speedy Cash sent you a letter of collection, usually it's a 3rd party collector that sends them, look carefully at the letter and post exactly what it says.

Was this an Internet loan? There are three Speedy Cash payday loan companies that are licensed in La.

On the paper it has a address from wichita kansas. It has a 1 800 number to call and at the bottom it states that unless I notify within 30 days after receiving this notice that you dispute the validity of this debt or any portion this office will assume that the debt is valid. if you notify this office in writing within 30 days from receiving this notice that you dispute the validity of this debt or any portion thereof this office will obtain vertification of the debt or obtain a copy of a judgement and mail you a copy of such judgement or vertification. If you request of this office in writing within T? days after receiving this notice this office will provide you with the name and address of the original creditor if different from the current creditor. then at the very bottom it says thia is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. if you have satisfied the balance due on the account or have made acceptable payment arrangements please disregard this letter. I got this loan off te internet. At the very bottom is a payment options like for visa or mastercard.
