After much help from reading around on this board. I can officially say I'm out of illegal pay day lender hell. I finally got a collection agency to finally take $150 for a $350 account. After I had informed them they had broken many pay day loan laws in my state. I got a letter explaining my debt was paid in the mail none the less. That I am relieved of all further obligation to this debt. Thank you to you guys for being so helpful to me.

However, check whether the account status has been updated on your credit report. If it has not been done, then ask the lender to inform the credit bureau and update the account status on your credit report.
