Flash loans is offering to give me a refund on all interest paid on my loans($782). They said they will refund this to my bank account. I have already closed my account and sent out all the letters. Flash loans was very quick to offer the refund but they just want to refund my old account. I explain that is not going to happen that they will have to send the refund via money order. Their repsonse back to me was

We are unable to send a money order, we can only issue the refund via ACH to an active bank account.

What should I do next? I am not giving them my new info by any means but i would love to get this refund somehow. They were pretty quick to offer this refund once I emailed them copies of my complaints I file to the BBB, FTC, and my attorney genereal. Should I just continue to email them and file compalints?

Thanks

You are very smart in not giving them your new bank information. I would instant they send you either a money order or certified check. Continue to email them and continue to pursue your complaints. I live in Ohio and when I filed my complaint with the Ohio Attorney General's Office, I was assigned someone. If you have been assigned someone with your attorney general's office, contact them and let them know what Flash wants to do. Keep us informed, I will be curious as to how this all turns out for you.

That is awesome! I wish that some of my illegal lenders that owe me refunds would send them, but they either ignore me, or stand firm on the fact that their laws prevail, not my state laws......I'm still hopeful that after they get contacted by the BBB and the SC Dept of Consumer Affairs that maybe I will get some of the refunds....As it stands right now, I am owed $2664 in refunds!!!!!

I'm in the same boat as you above I've been sending emails everyday and no repsonse. I've filed complaints with bbb and the ftc, but they've been no help so far. The only thing I've heard back from them is that the pdl companiews have not responded to them. Like you I'm not hoilding my breath, but figure it's just a couple of emails a day can't hurt to try right.

angsmith: wagesfast.com, mypaydayloan.com, and Magnum. Wagesfast.com is not even located in the United States. They are located in Costa Rica. They are still saying I owe them. Good luck in collecting because in reality they owe me a refund of $780. What are your payday lenders that you are trying to collect refunds from?

I actually have 7 that I'm trying to get money back from, but I doubt that I'll ever see anything from them. they're unitedcashloans, ameriloan, oneclickcash, acecashservices,quickest-cash-advance, paydayisland.com, and webpayday (even though i know they're not lending any more I'm still sending emails and stuff to them to try and see what happens).

I not sure how you received the information from Flash Loans pertaining to a refund of promised to you. But if it was sent by email I would file a small claims proceeding against them and us the e-mail as proof of refund owed to you. But don't let them know you have the upper hand. And also find out what the interest would be on the amount being withheld as well as filing fees. Now if they refuse to pay and this maybe stretching it go to the sheriffs office and show court documents (based on a successful win in court). Good Luck.
