Hi All,

I just found your forum and I am very thankful to see that there are people out there willing to help people like me!! I live in Florida. I have one storefront loan through Advance America and 6 internet pdl's. The interest on these alone are killing my paycheck each month and I cannot afford to pay my regular bills. I am desperate to get out from under these things but have no clue where to start. I had already thought about closing my checking account, but was unsure if I would be able to open another checking account (my work requires direct deposit) without the pdl's being able to follow me. Would someone please tell me the first steps I need to take to get out of this vicious cycle? Thanks!!

Tracy

Go and open a new account first, then close this one.

Please name the Internet lenders, most aren't legal.

Advance America offers and EPP (extended payment plan), you have to ask for it BEFORE your next payment is due. How it works is you will sign up for it and make 4 equal payments on each pay day.

As soon as you name the Internet lenders we can plan another course of action.

Thanks Shazzer! The online pdl's are listed below. (Please note I have a second post now listed as "Desperate in Florida" because I was unable to find this original post.)

500fastcash.com
unitedcashloans.com
mycashnow.com
paydaymax.com
FBDloans
National PDL

I understand from another post on here that the FBD Loans (or thinkcash.com) is legal, so I have e-mailed them to see if a lower payment can be worked out. But please let me know if I understood them being legal in Florida correctly. Thanks again!!
