There is no need to close threads

right after you have your say on my thread

so screw you sky creep

I JUST SPENT FOREVER posting the entire docket of my case so people could see how ridiculous it is and the kind of abuse Midland can put out there but I wasted my time typing it all in because SKY CREEP closed the thread.

i was already ticked and now SKY CREEP MADE MY DAY.

You didnt type anything for nothing--the thread is still there. It was closed because you refused to follow the terms of service and you then became abusive. IT IS MY JOB AS A MODERATOR to handle things when someone posts in a manner that you posted. I will not apologize for the fact that I asked you to calm down and you decided that insulting me and my family was the way to go. GROW UP. I even told you that I would reopen the thread as soon as you decided to get some maturity.

I explained to you that you are subject to the terms of service here that you agreed to follow when you joined. Those terms of service include the following:

Now, you agreed to follow these rules when you became a member here. How is it my fault that you then chose to intentionally ignore them? As a moderator, what do you think my responsibility is when I see something like this on the forums? I posted to you that your anger would not help you. I then posted a legitimate suggestion to you about how to handle the attorney that is giving you such a hard time. It isnt my fault or problem that you again chose to throw the rules even further out the window. Your original thread is still intact and everyone here can read it for themselves, so we all can see that I did NOTHING WRONG. I did not attack you in ANY WAY. I CERTAINLY do not deserve the nonsense you posted. So I closed your thread--I am SUPPOSED to do things like that as one of the staff here. Of course, if you really think I did something wrong, PLEASE, contact Jason and show him that thread...and this one too. Good luck with your "report".....

Here is an update....

Last night, she sent me a ridiculous email, cursing me out some more. I replied telling her not to contact me anymore and that I was going to have to file a police report because she refused to stop this behavior.

This morning, I woke up and found four shiny new emails in my inbox. The first was sent at 12:57am, second at 12:59am, third at 1:03am, and the fourth around 5 this morning. All four were the same abusive crap....cursing me out, telling me how "cancer ate my brain", and daring me to call the cops on her. Well, those of you that know me, you know I dont like to disappoint, so this afternoon I forwarded the emails and everything else to the local police, who will then in turn locate her and she will be arrested. This fruit loop actually went so far as to search down my email address from the internet, and then my first and last name.....I generally dont worry about the freaks of this world, but I do have a wife and children to think about. And, seeing how she just seems to keep taking this further and further, I dont think it would be wise to not take this seriously. Funny thing too.....she kept emailing me, when I was not responding in any way, and she kept telling me to stop contacting her or she would press charges.....what a complete tool....

I had a bad feeling about her from the beginning. When she attacked me in PM's over moving her thread I was stunned. She was using fowl language and threatening me also. Just based on that behavior alone I knew it was a matter of time before she went berserk. I fear what she is capable of. It's unbelievable that she has gone this far. I wouldn't put anything past her, and you definitely did the right thing. I hope she gets locked up!

Sad, because some of her posts had value. But this job doesn't pay well enough to deal with personal attacks. I would like to see this board require membership and if a poster is out of line, boot them, their ip and email address. Might slow down some of the garbage. It could be made easy to join. Like I saw on Facebook's corporate plan...they require membership but are very careful to keep it easy to join.

Sky, I'm glad you followed through on your threat. I don't like this person. I don't like how she treated Shazz. I don't like how she seems to follow people around just for the purpose of disagreeing with them. I don't like the fact that she was actually nominated to be a Debt Samaritan and I especially don't like how she's treated you. This chick needs to be banned. She's trouble.

This type of behavior is precisely why I didn't vote for her to be a debt samaritan.

Well, she was banned from here. But that has not stopped the harassment. She searched for me online and found my full name and email address. So, she's been sending me emails....she sent me another one just this morning, bragging about how the cops have not come knocking on her door yet so I must be full of it. She said she was off to court this morning to fight against Midland....and I find myself thinking that for once, I actually hoped that the debt collector won their case!!!
