Desperate in Florida

I am so thankful I have found this website!! I am just getting started trying to straighten out the PDl fiasco I have gotten myself into and have found some helpful information here, but I am unsure of exactly where to start. I live in Florida and have six online pdl's and one storefront pdl. I know the storefront pdl I have is legal and it is the least of my worries as their fees are not as extreme so I will work with them through Florida law. But I was planning on going to my credit union today to get the ball rolling for the online pdl's but want to ask you all here if that is the right first step to take. The online pdl companies I have are listed below. Can someone tell me if any of these are licensed in Florida? Also, how can I make it clear to these companies that I want to pay back the original loan amount with the appropriate legal fees, but that I am not willing to pay above and beyond that? And last but not least where is the best place to find the proper mailing addresses for these companies, so that they cannot claim they did not receive my withdrawal of their ACH privileges? Any and all help you can give is very appreciated.

Another thing I would like to add is that if the aforementioned companies are not legal in your state, then you're only required to pay the principal amount. You don't have to pay the interest rates or any other fees to anyone.

Isabella, Thank you for the reply. I postponed going to the bank until I know whether all the companies I am dealing with are illegal in Florida or not. From the link you posted I see that unitedcashloans.com is definitely illegal. Is there a list on here that shows which companies are legal in which states? Or can someone tell me in this thread? Thanks everyone!

actually the only legal loan is FBD.all others are illegal, and paydaymax, and mycashnow are under the same company.C&K marketing.unitedcash, and 500fastcash,are MTE and claim the bogus"tribal immunity"but are illegal nonetheless.national too.btw paydaymax, and mycashnow are not even based in the US so really techincally except for FBD none are legal.try to see what you can work out as far as alternate payment arrgangements.some questions regarding the illegals.
1)amount borrowed from each
2)amount debited in"fees"by each thus far
isabella is right.you only these places the principle nothing else, and anytthing debited goes toward the loan, and gets deducted from the principle.answer those questions, and you will know how much you truly do owe.

Thank you so much for letting me know the other companies are illegal in Florida. I have e-mailed my local branch manager about this issue and I am awaiting a reply.
If I remember correctly, I seem to recall hearing about some posters here getting calls from a 347 area code number after stopping paying these things. Well I have not even sent my letters yet withdrawing my ach consent and I am already getting calls from someone at this number stating his name is Alex Stewart (with an obviously foreign accent) and he wants to speak to me or my attorney immediately. What is up with that? Any ideas?
