claim to be process carrier
Date: Tue, 02/08/2011 - 07:52
Have never received any paperwork in writing of any kind. Was receiving continuous calls from 877-801-8409 claim to be first national arbitration. Now receiving calls from Marshall Bailey that he is a process carrier and needs to schedule a meeting for me at work to accept court documents. He claims I need to call the 877 number above, the petitioner, for information on why he has to serve this document. I don't want to call this scam number..any suggestions. Not sure what this about--I have a couple of payday loans (all illegal) I stopped allowing bank charges on. So guess this is the issue. I'm thinking he would leave me his direct number not an 877 number if I am to contact him to set up an appointment?
Should I continue to ignore these call?
Any help is appreciated.
yes, this is a scam as real process servers don't call ahead, and
yes, this is a scam as real process servers don't call ahead, and do not serve at someone's job.use the name and 877 number to file a police report as the idiot broke the law with his calls.file the report and hang up when he ,or anybody else calls like that.a waste of time to even acknowledge them.
Thank you so much I thought so...but he keeps calling both home
Thank you so much I thought so...but he keeps calling both home and work. I can't make them stop as I can't locate anything on this number or company.
Anyone have an address of any kind for this "First national arbitration" ?
It would be great to be able to write them a cease and desist. If not can I report the phone number to the FCC?
Thanks
