If you have no debts, why are you afraid to talk to them? If it is in fact not you, get their mailing address and send them a cease and desist.

Nelly, if what the original poster said is true, there is no need to "deal with Allied."

Squeaker, do as SoapLady instructed. Answer the phone when they call. Find out who they're looking for. If it's not you, tell them so and ask for their mailing address. If they call again, send a cease and desist letter.

As you all know dealing with these type of calls can be never ending. My solution was to purchase a Digitone call blocker. It will take Wildcard phone numbers meaning you put the area code in and it will block all calls from that area code. I can see from the blocker display Allied has called here 6 times today but did not get through once. It answers the call holds the line open for a few seconds and then hangs up. Works for me.

Why bother going to the expense??

A call and a simple cease and desist will work.
