Closing Capital One bank account in Texas

Anyone close their Capital One bank account in Texas? Is there anything I should know before doing it? Right now, I have 2 outstanding checks in the queue that I expect to clear by Thursday of this week. I get paid this next Monday, and I wanted to know what the limitations were to closing an account with CapitalOne. I REALLY NEED THIS MONEY TO PAY BILLS NOT PDLS.
What do I need to bring? Also, if I am to NOT send the letters to the PDL companies until AFTER I close my account, how can I bring these letters to bank saying that they were already requested to stop ACH transactions? Also, I have 3 PDLs that are CSOs...do I contact them AFTER the account has been closed?
Ugh...I am so sick and stressed over this...it consumes my thoughts every second of every minute of every hour. Please...I need reassurance that I am doing right thing. Really wish I knew someone I could talk to on the phone that has dealt with this...this is killing me.

Just close your account and tell them you suspect fraudulent wit
Just close your account and tell them you suspect fraudulent withdrawals are coming in. If your account is not overdrawn right now it is your right to close it. Find out there policy on ACH on closed accounts. Some banks will force them open but not many anymore.
