I applied for a payday loan this morning with Payment Direct Online. Afterwards I realized they had no website and I could not get to my loan documents anywhere. I then started getting nervous. I typed their name into google and this website came up. I found the number 888-696-0090 and an email address in a thread. I sent an email immediately saying I wanted to cancel it. I didnt hear anything. A while later I called and got an automated menu to choose from. A rep got on the phone. It sounded like an african american male voice. I told him I couldnt get any info on the loan. He asked me my social security #. I gave it to him and he said my name and said it had been cancelled because I sent a cancellation email. My question is do I believe this? And should I still be worried they will take money from me on my next payday? I totally regret this whole thing!! Im so nervous after reading all the info on here. Foryunately your bank was closed so you should be able to go there tomorrow morning and block any ACH deposits. If it did go in just close block ACH withdrawals and wait until they contact you and tell them it was cancelled. Then give them back there money. If they refuse to let you send it back, oh well. They are probably located off shore and can't do anything to you. Save that email.
