I had a sheriff visit me today serving me with papers for LVNV. They are taking us to court .. I know we owe Kay Jewlers, so I do not mind paying..BUT I want to know, is there anything we should do? Or just show up to court with our check book? Will they settle with out going to court?

If you've received a summons, you should give a reply to it. You
If you've received a summons, you should give a reply to it. You will have to show up in the court on the given date and you may try to settle it. You can always contact them and try to settle the debts out of court but it will be the creditor's discretion whether or not he will consider your request.
