I got into debt problems when I was 18 years old. Three years have passed since then. I have graduated from my college and will start looking for jobs. I have few charge-offs on my credit report. My question is, do I need to pay them off? Will it create a problem in getting a job?

If the charged off debts are within the SOL period, then it will be better to pay them off. If you have a good credit record, it will be easier for you to get a job. If you don't think you'll be able to negotiate with your creditors/collection agencies, then take the help of local debt relief companies for the same. They will negotiate with your creditors/collection agencies and give you a payment plan which will help you in paying them off in an affordable manner.
