On the phone with a collection agency, they are going to work with me on a settlement, they do say they need to have a secure form of payment, ie: credit card/checking, What do I need to ask for/look for on their settlement agreement before I send my money to them?

well how about it in writing before giving them any info as far as payment info.sounds like they want you give them financial info before they send anything.since you are on the phone state you want this in writing again before you give them anything like a CC or checking account.see how their demeanor changes.
