has debt settlement worked for anyone online

I've settled over $35,000 in credit card debt - 2 Bank of America accounts, Citibank, Chase, Discover and payment arrangements with Capital One. My last settlement payment was made 2/28/11 and I am now debt free, except for Capital One.

Capital One is the worst. I recently settled chase, citi, home depot (citi), but capita; one wouldn't budge. Ended up paying it off with tax returns....

I'm not certain about the question.
Don't know anything regarding online settlement.

But with the intel gathered in this great forum I was able to settle $84k for $27k.
I made the settlements with the original creditor via telephone.

Done.
Finished.
Got the 1099's.
